Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Lusaka
Upon arrival at Lusaka International Airport, you will find your drivers waiting for you who will help you with immigration formalities and your luggage and later transfer you from the airport to Palmwood Lodge in Lusaka which will be your home for the whole 5 nights you will stay exploring the beauty of Lusaka City and its surrounding areas
Day 2: Full Day Tour – Chaminuka Lodge
During your time in Lusaka you will have a chance to visit Chaminuka Nature Reserve Lodge which is about 45 minutes driving from your hotel in the City of Lusaka.
Chaminuka is a synopsis of Africa. From the concept, to the design, to the execution to its collections of African Art and Wildlife, to its way of life, it is the creation of Andrew and Danae Sardanis, who made Chaminuka their home since 1978.
Chaminuka is a village on a hill overlooking Lake Chitoka; it is some 10,000 acres of pristine Miombo woodland and savannah; it is the roar of the lion and the laughter of the hyena; it is the elephant and the giraffe and the zebra and the eland and the sable and all the other animals of the Zambian bush; and it is the fish eagle and the kingfisher and the ibis and the egrets and the storks and the ducks and the geese and the other migratory birds that visit its lakes for rest and recuperation during their long annual sojourns from the Antarctic to the Russian steppes and back.
Day 3 to 5: Palmwood Lodge in Lusaka
Established in 1988, this lush oasis began as a family-owned home with 38 rooms – the lodge has since been under the same ownership. Eighteen years later, Palmwood continues to exist with exponential growth, expanding to reach to guests from both within Zambia and all over the world. Day 6: Flight from Lusaka to Livingstone
After your breakfast on this day, your driver will pick you from Palmwood Lodge to Lusaka airport for your local flight from Lusaka to Livingstone. Upon arrival at Livingstone airport, you will find your drivers waiting for you who will help you with your luggage and later transfer you to Chapa Classic Lodge which will be your home for the 5 nights exploring the Victoria Falls.
Day 7: Guide tour of the falls - Zambian side
Victoria Falls is one of the most compelling sites in the world, this cascading column of sheer energy powers its way down a 100m chasm, taking your breath away, as you gaze in awe mesmerized by its strength and incredible beauty. As you captivate this famous wonder you will be completely enthralled to see and feel “The Smoke that Thunders.”
The Tour Guides will ensure that the best photographic opportunities are indicated, whilst mesmerizing the clients with historical and current information, as well as details on the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife and other related issues on this World Heritage Site. Raincoats are provided when needed.
2.5 hours depending on how much time clients want to spend taking photos and admiring the spectacular views. Also note that there is a Café in the Rainforest and clients can take time out to have something to drink / eat before walking out of the Rainforest.
Day 8: The Lion King Boat Cruise Mukuni Big 5 Tour
The Lion King Boat Cruise takes place along the river boundary of the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. During the cruise, guests are likely to see hippos, crocodile and some good birdlife. Possible other game sightings are elephant, giraffe, buffalo and buck (although sightings cannot be guaranteed). An experienced guide accompanies each cruise who has good knowledge on the wildlife and local history of the area.

Day 9: Walking with Lion/Rhino in Zimbabwe
Taking approximately one hour this amazing experience is a great addition to Victoria Falls - Africa’s adventure capital.
You may even be lucky enough to experience a stalk on some of the wildlife species. Wild animals are dangerous, so listen to the guides. No leashes or collars the pride runs freely with you through the bush. Guests may even be lucky enough to experience the young cubs on a stalk on some of the wildlife species that occur in the wild.
Day 10: Chapa Classic Lodge
Chapa Classic Lodge affordable accommodation and conferencing. The Chapa Classic Lodge and the annex Chapa Vanguard offer a total of 67 rooms and conference facilities for up to 160 participants. The lodges are across the street from each other in a quiet area just next to the Livingstone city centre.
