This is an ideal Kenyan safari into Amboseli and Tsavo National Park. The two parks are in the same region but each is special in its own way. Amboseli National Park being a premium pack is famous for its large herds of the African elephant and gives a clear viewing of Mt Kilimanjaro (the highest mountain in Africa). Tsavo National Park is the largest park in Kenya and its divided into two; Tsavo East and Tsavo West. Tsavo East is full of life with its dusty-red large herds of elephants. This safari will give you a chance to view the big five.

The safari will be smoothly coordinated by our professional tour drivers who will ensure you enjoy your holiday to the fullest and exceed your expectation. Standard accommodation and transport in a tourist van will be provided and every other detail will be stipulated in the itinerary.

Itinerary
DAY 1: NAIROBI-TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK

Pick-up by our representative (professional tour drivers) in Nairobi. This will mark the beginning of your safari from Nairobi to Tsavo East National Park South Western Part of Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch where you will be assisted to check in at your hotel. A guided afternoon game drives at the park. (16:00 hrs - 18:00 hrs) (Lunch & Dinner)

OVERNIGHT AND MEALS AT VOI WILDLIFE LODGE.

DAY 2: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE AT TSAVO EAST NATIONAL

Early morning games drive within the serenity ecosystem of the park. The park is famous for its history. During the construction of the Kenyan-Ugandan Railway that cuts across Tsavo East and Tsavo West there were the maneless ‘man-eaters’ lions that used to attack the railway constructors.

Attraction and activities at Tsavo East.

During the game drive you can spot:  the dust–red elephants wallowing in the red soils of Tsavo, rhino, buffalos, lions, leopard, and lesser kudu among other wild animals in the park. Furthermore it is a home to over 500 bird species making it a good destination for birding.  Sightings of blue waters of Galana River where most animals drink their water during dry season, 300 kilometers longest lava flow in the world which is known as Yatta Plateau, Mudanda rock and Lugard Falls. DAY 3: TSAVO EAST - AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

An early morning game drive and checking out from the hotel to travel to Amboseli National Park. Arriving at the park in the afternoon and checking at the hotel. A guided evening game drive to this magnificent premium park. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

OVERNIGHT AND MEALS AT AMBOSELI KIBO SAFARI CAMP

DAY 4: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

An early guided morning game drives at the park. The park is known for its large herd of elephants and a spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.

Attractions and Activities.

This where you can view the elephants in big herds of elephants roaming freely. Wild animals to view include leopard, cheetah, wild dogs, buffalo, zebra, and lion among other animals. Over 600 bird species have been recorded in the park making it good for bird viewing. Furthermore you will climb a watching hill at the park where you can have an aerial view of the park.

An evening game drive or a cultural tour at the Maasai community living in their homesteads where you will experience and learn their authentic culture and also you can purchase some of their handmade cultural items. (Cultural tour is at a personal cost which is paid to the village elders) (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

DAY 5: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK-NAIROBI

This marks the end of your safari. An early morning game drive and check out from the hotel after breakfast en-route back to Nairobi. (Breakfast)

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Jemu Mwenda Expeditions Ltd does not provide travel insurance therefore the client must obtain travel insurance from their home country with the minimum recommended medical, evacuation, and repatriation coverage covering all applicable dates of any travel with Jemu Mwenda Expeditions Ltd and this insurance must cover personal injury and emergency medical expenses. It is strongly recommended that clients also extend their coverage to include cancellation and all other expenses that might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience occurring to the client. The cost of the tour does not include any insurance coverage for the client, and that the client is required to obtain separate coverage at an additional cost to the tour price. When obtaining travel insurance the client must ensure the insurer is aware of the type of travel to be undertaken so that the insurer may properly cover travel on the applicable tour.

PASSPORT AND VISAS

The onus is on the client to ensure that passport and visas are valid for the countries listed.  The company, its staff, and its agents cannot be held liable for any visas etc. not held by the clients.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

All clients are obligated to truthfully provide requested relevant medical information to Jemu Mwenda Expeditions Ltd upon booking their tour. Clients are responsible for assessing their own suitability and capability to participate in a tour with us. All clients should consult their physician regarding their fitness for taking part in the booked tour. Jemu Mwenda Expeditions Ltd recommends all clients to seek their physician’s advice regarding necessary or advisable vaccinations, medical precautions, or other medical concerns regarding the entirety of the client’s travel with Jemu Mwenda Expeditions Ltd.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

In case of any dietary requirements please alert us in advance, Jemu Mwenda Expeditions  Ltd will strive to accommodate the special requests of clients, including (without limitation) dietary and accommodation requests, but such requests do not form part of these Terms and Conditions or the contract between the client and Jemu Mwenda Expeditions Ltd and Jemu Mwenda Expeditions Ltd is not liable for any failure to accommodate or fulfill such requests.

RESPONSIBILITY

Travel carries some measure of inherent risk including, but not limited to, the hazards of traveling in underdeveloped areas where road conditions and other facilities may be poor or lacking; the forces of nature; and accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation. Expedition tours and Safaris provided by Jemu Mwenda Expeditions Ltd involve visiting remote or less developed regions of Kenya, where medical facilities may not meet the standards of those found in a client’s home country. The condition of medical facilities in these areas varies and Jemu Mwenda Expeditions Ltd makes no representations and gives no warranties in relation to the standard of such facilities or medical treatment in those regions.

Bookings are accepted on the specific condition that Jemu Mwenda Expeditions Ltd and its teams acts as agents of the passenger hereby also identified as ‘’Client” in all matters relating to hotels, sightseeing tours, restaurants, all forms of transportation and other services which may be included in these tours. Jemu Mwenda Expeditions Ltd may purchase these services from suppliers and other independent contractors, without warranties and representations from them and thus such services are not subject to its control.
