The reserve of over 4500 hectares is situated in the Olifants River Valley in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. 

Giraffe, Eland, Zebra, Wildebeest, Leopard and over 290 bird species together with the Cycad populations and extensive grasslands, cliffs, valleys and riverine forestation justify the reserve to be designated as irreplaceable and highly significant in terms of the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Authority’s bio-diversity assessment criteria.

  • Luxury Safari tents with en-suite bathrooms, fitted with natural fibre carpets and comfortable king size beds or 2 three quarter beds.
  • Each tent has a fan to cool in summer and electric blankets in winter. 
  • A coffee station with a gas kettle, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk and rusks.
