Point B Guest House offers a lovely respite nestled between Signal Hill and the sea, in the heart of Cape Town. Centrally located in Green Point, this home away from home is a short stroll away from Green Point Park where there is golfing and Cape Town Stadium, the beach promenade, and a wonderful array of eateries and attractions. The V&A waterfront and the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa are mere minutes away, and views from Table Mountain or reveries in the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens are easily accessible, along with a host of other memorable outings you will happily reflect on while spending time relaxing at our cozy poolside patio.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
  • Check In Time: 14:00
  • Afternoon at leisure.
  • Overnight accommodation at Point B Guest House.
Day 2: Paddle with penguins excursion
  • Continental Breakfast
  • Take our guided tour on our very stable double kayaks and paddle the warm waters of False Bay and we will show you some wonderful things on our visit to the penguins at Boulders Beach. No experience is required, and fit, able-bodied people can do it. Trips take place every day of the year, weather permitting - summer and winter.
    One of the most unique places in the world and the best way to see it is from the water. We meet at the town jetty in Simon's Town for an introduction to paddling and a safety briefing. We then paddle out past the civilian and Naval Harbours where you get a bonus close view of our naval vessels and then to the penguins. On the way we will normally encounter a number of seals. If the time and tide is right, we may stop on a beach for a swimming break, or else we swim from the kayaks and get a close look at penguins nearby.

Day 3: Break free & sail the sea

  • Sail on the blue sea of the Atlantic Ocean from Cape Town to get a panorama view of the coast and relax on board and experience the best possible view of the sun setting over the ocean – you do not want to miss this breath-taking view.
    Cape Town has one of the best locations for watching the sun go down from the water. With the Atlantic Ocean stretching away from the majestic Table Mountain range, it is certainly a must do cruise for locals and tourists alike. You will get a unique of the coast while sipping on local sparkling wine.

Booking Policies & Conditions

  • A deposit of 50% confirms the booking.
  • Full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.
  • Point B accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express with a 3% bank charge(applicable to items purchased at the Point B establishment.)
  • All bookings less than 10 days in advance need full payment.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to arrival- deposit will be refunded(minus any administration fees incurred.)
  • Cancellations 59-40 days prior to arrival -25% of the full rate is payable.
  • Cancellations 39-30 days prior arrival -50% of the full rate is payable.(forfeit deposit)
  • Cancellations 29-15 days prior arrival - 75% of the full rate is payable.
  • Cancellations must be in writing. No verbal cancellations will be accepted. Any other cancellations should be done via the channel or website.
